ON-TRAIL SUPPORT

Getting off-trail to support an injury is expensive and inconvenient. We make it easy to stay on trail with hiker budgets in mind.

Physical therapy on the trail,

whenever you need it most.

No one likes to get off-trail to address an injury. It’s expensive, messes with your rhythm, and causes you to lose your trail family. If you’re lucky enough to have it occur near a town, the last thing you want to do on a town day is find a physical therapist and go to an appointment.

We understand that and wanted to create a way to address injuries that is convenient and cost effective for hikers. Injuries are one of the main reasons thru hikes end prematurely and addressing the problem early on will better set you up for success.

Don’t let your injuries stop you. Whether we’re in the same town, or digitally, I’ll come to you.

Setting You Up for Success

Often, hikers will “hike through” injuries, causing much more serious problems down the trail. Addressing it early allows you to stop it before it takes you off the trail for good.

Blaze Physio is for hikers that are experiencing pain or injury on trail. Whether it’s nagging foot or shin pain that is making your experience less enjoyable or an ankle sprain that happened when you stepped on a rock, we’d love to get you back up and hiking to keep you going to the end.

FAQ

Help a Hiker is a pay it forward campaign to sponsor hiker injury evaluations. Anyone has the opportunity to buy a Help A Hiker sticker for $40 and it will supply a free hiker evaluation. Help A Hiker evaluations are a good faith initiative that those who can pay for services will, and those who need the help will feel comfortable asking so they get the injury help they need. It is our intent to stay out all summer, so we are readily available to hikers. Purchasing a Help A Hiker sticker also helps those efforts.

In addition to Help A Hiker, Blaze Physio will always help trail angels. If Morgan runs into a Trail angel while out treating hikers, that trail angel can receive any service at no cost, as a thank you for all they do.
